About Liftback Legends

What we do

Each video tells one part of the Celica story: a generation, a technology, a rally car, a buyer's question. On this site every video gets an article with what the video can't show: tables, timelines, a glossary and the sources.

How we work

• Every number and fact has a source and the date we checked it.
• When sources disagree, we show both values and say so.
• Workshop topics are information, not a service manual.
• We correct mistakes: write to hello@liftbacklegends.com.

Independent

Liftback Legends is an independent fan channel and website. It is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Toyota. Toyota and Celica are trademarks of Toyota Motor Corporation; we use the names only to describe the cars.

Pictures

We use our own graphics, illustrations made with AI tools (marked “Illustration (AI)”) and photos of real Celicas with an open licence from Wikimedia Commons, credited under each photo and on the image credits page. The photos show the cars as they are, badges included. We do not use the Toyota logo as our own graphic and we do not use Toyota press photos.
